Acknowledging the diverse demands of these subjects, the study focuses on finding a device that balances high computing power, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

Sources for the research include the ETSISI degree subject guide, high-end computer specifications from leading manufacturers and expert technology reviews. The findings emphasize the importance of processor speed, graphics performance, battery life, and user experience in selecting the best computer for academic purposes.

Recommendations:

High-End Option: Apple MacBook Pro (M2, 2023) for its long battery life, high performance, and reliability, ideal for intensive computing tasks.

Value for Money Option: Asus Zenbook 14 OLED (UM3402) for its overall value in terms of performance and cost, suitable for a range of academic needs.

Versatile 2-in-1 Option: Lenovo Yoga 7i (16-inch) for students who benefit from a convertible laptop with tablet functionalities.

Best Windows Option: Dell XPS 17 for students preferring a Windows ecosystem with high performance.
